MIN might use a pick to clear Rask, but it's highly doubtful that they include a really good prospect like Addison.

In a perfect world they move Rask in a deal that brings back what they want at the deadline.

That being said, this would be a really good move for OTT

wasn't sure what the rankings for Minnesota prospect pool, but a good midtiered prospect should be enough sweetner to move rask's contract, giving Dorion already talking about it with Guerin

Why use a rop prospect to dump 1/2 year of a bad contract? Minnesota already has plenty of cap space for the deadline. If somebody takes Rask, great, but if not, we can manage. Definitely no need for a trade like this

It would be a mediocre one if a second is included. Addison is in their top 5, and they need all the young entry level guys they can for the next 3 years of cap hell. I think that's why Guerin was comfortable with the buyout. I put their farm system top 7 in the league.
