Dallas hangs up on you. Why would they retain on both pavs and dobby, take on Holl and Mrazek who have multi year contracts and not get a 1st rounder in return?

You are asking Dallas to give up their best player and take on over $20 mil in retention and contracts for Robertson and a couple late 2nds?

you asking for the leafs to give up two 2nds, a better goalie and a 4 defender for a forward they cant sign and an old bad goalie with a bad contract even when retained?

By no way is Mrazek better, he’s been awful, can’t stay healthy on a worse contract. Holl is a 3rd liner. Why trade for him if you can’t resign him anyway and why trade for a “worse” goalie when his contract is still bad after retention?

no, Mrazek has been fine to good when he's healthy and he's healthy now. Khudobin has been putrid this year, wasnt good last year and he's 6 years older than Mrazek. Mrazek is better and better value even at full price vs retained. Khudobin is toast.
And Holl is a 2nd pairing defender, not a forward
And i never said that the leafs should trade for Pavelski, especially at that price. Hed be a nice add, but adding another forward that wont be here very long isnt a great idea for the leafs, especially at a high cost.
why are you pretending this is my agm?

I didn’t pretend this was yours? Where did I say that? You responded to my comment. 3rd line defensive pair, my mistake guess that wasn’t able to be inferred. No matter what about goaltending value, Dallas doesn’t do it anyway

you literally said "why do you trade for him" when i didnt, IE like it was my AGM. And no, Holl is a 2nd pairing defender, he's a number 4 defenceman, that's what they look like. I dont really care if dallas does it or not, because the leafs 100% dont do it, which was my point.

Mrazek is a slightly better bad goalie. He's still the #3 goalie in Dallas behind Oettinger and Holtby. Rather keep Khudobin, be free of that contract after next season, and hit the UFA market for a backup goalie to Oettinger this offseason.

Dallas also has a ton of cap space this offseason, especially with Klingberg almost definitely not coming back, should they want to bring back Pavelski. I don't think they should, but that's because I have a personal thing for giving significant contracts to 38+ year old players.

I don't think the package above is too far off, but I don't see Dallas moving Pavelski without getting some kind of 1st Round pick in return, especially if they're retaining. They are getting ready to hit an significant retool/rebuild & they'll need as many high draft picks as possible. If I'm Dallas, I'm shooting for Robertson + 1st Round Pick for Pavelski, even if it means adding some retention and another minor piece or two to the deal.

sure, that's all well and good for dallas, but it makes no sense for the Leafs. Khudobin has been worse than Mrazek by a significant margin and that gap will only widen and Pavelski, while good, doesnt move the needle enough to take on that contract and give up the futures. especially when they wont be re-signing pavelski who is no spring chicken himself and his next deal is almost guarenteed to be a bad bet
