Possibly, for a early round 2nd that might happen. The other two players from NY aren't really necessary

Isles don't have an early second rounder, but Bellows could be useful. Not sure how to peg his value but depending on how big of a blow up Chicago does they'll still need to field a team. He could be an average middle-6. Bellows biggest flaw is his skating ability. Offensively he's alright. Has a decent shot.

Hawks have plenty of bottom 6 young players so that's definitely not our issue. Our issues are finding a young top 6 center or wing playmaker and a young first line LHD man; those are the biggest holes we need to fill. If we let go of Kubalik, it's because this team (besides jones, toews, and Kane) is going back to rebuild mode and picks and prospects are important. That said, Bellows is a 3rd liner at best. Speed in the game today is important as you know.

That all said, make it the 2023 2nd round pick maybe.

Honestly, I think a 2nd rounder is what it will take; maybe a decent prospect attached. Kubalik is a RFA and I believe is going to require $4M for his qualifying offer. He'll be 27 in august before the start of next season and for a team that's another 2 years to 3 years realistically from competing, I doubt they want to tie up another $4M in cap for a sniper that should be entering the prime of his game.
