Ok let's look at the trades without being rude.
Drouin isn't a very good all around hockey player. He has some skill, played with Mackinnon, I personally would love to see them reunited but they aren't giving up a player like Newhook for him. Newhook has way more value than everything offered. They might be interested in that deal if you swap Newhook for a 2nd, and that's including the retention.
Klingberg wants out but you literally gave them negative value for him and Faksa. Petry does not hold any value, he is a straight cap dump with his age and declining play this year. Could he bounce back, sure, are teams willing to pay anything to take a chance on that? Not likely, too much dollars and too much term. Klingberg probably gets a first and good prospect, Faksa probably a second. Dvorak is maybe worth a second now, unfortunately he hasn't held the value they paid for him.
Blues might be interested in Lehkonen but only paying a third, he might get more....maybe.
They said the asking price for Chiarot is a first, they might get that with retention. Not going to get a first and a good RD prospect for him. A first would be lucky. A second and third is more likely.
With the Edmonton trade, Allan isn't an upgrade on koskinen, just cheaper. Niku doesn't have any value. Barrie may suck defensively but can put up points with them. Rasanen is nothing. Gallaghers contact is a huge anchor, I like the player but that's too much and Edmonton can't afford him. Definitely not paying a first and third for him. He would cause too much of a cap issue next season.
I can't say much for the Calgary trade as I'm still high on Monahan unlike some people.
But that's why these trades won't work. Me being a Detroit fan, seeing these would be the equivalent as me saying Dekeyser for Caufield and a first.
Unfortunately for the Habs most of their players don't hold much or any value and they will have to deal with that for the foreseeable future.

COL doesn’t want or need Drouin. The narrative of reuniting him with MacKinnon is tired, lazy and wouldn’t happen because he isn’t remotely as good as Rantanen or Landeskog. They don’t need him to increase their offense because they are leading the league in scoring. He doesn’t play good enough defense to justify putting him on the 3rd line. Sure COL takes him on the cheap at 50% retained for say a 3rd and a prospect like Bowers but what’s the point in doing that from MTL. No way COL gives a top prospect or a 1st rd pick in fact MTL asking for either ends that conversation.
