What Boston should have done

Honestly I'd take Werenski over everyone but McDavid and Eichel but thats just my opinion.

this isn’t about anything but the ultimate wiff of a draft by Boston. how do you screw up 3-1sts like that. i hope they fired their scouting department after this draft

Yeah but they won a cup in 2011, Lost in the finals in 2013 and they only missed the playoffs 2 seasons even with those 3 picks. In 2018 they lost in the finals and in 2019 they lost to TB who won the cup. Since 1967-68 they have never missed the playoffs more than 2 seasons in a row. When you have a team like that you feel you can take more risks not that you should but when you do it doesn't always end up well.

but when you end up with 3 1sts you have to take 1 risk and two logical picks, those 3 so high up could have kept them hunting for years instead they have 1 player of 3 become a legit player and even then he wants out of Boston.
