He was on pace for 50pts last year. It’s enough of a sample size. Plus he has the same agent as Tkachuk. And he’s really good defensively. He’s going to ask for the same contract as Suzuki

While I get that Norris is solid I don't think he is worth 8M, Mangiapane is not having a "hot season" his underlying stats are just actually showing up on the scoresheet now

I think you should bridge Norris for 3 years

Bridging Norris would be a bad move when the Sens are trying to compete in 3 years and gotta re-sign Sanderson and other guys as well . I would sign Stutzle and Norris longterm and bridge Sanderson and whoever is an RFA in 2 years or longer

Ottawa should pass on this. Huge difference between a late 2nd vs late 1st. Would rather get a decent prospect and a 1st than Dubé and a late 2.

Norris will take no less then suzuki and I can't blame him... he has produced against the leagues best centers 2 years in a row now and hasn't looked out of place. 7mx8 would be a win for ottawa imo. Formenton and brannstrom will likely be the guys to get bridges this year but norris has cemented himself on this core going forward
