We didn’t want Risto in the off-season, why would we want him now? If Risto is traded now, he won’t even get that return. Flyers paid a pretty penny for a guy who has been pretty useless this season. Now they have no chance of getting that investment back.

I think you underestimate how dumb a lot of gm's are. If the flyers move him at the deadline they'll get decent value back for him. Regardless of his analytics, teams still see him as a big top 4 rhd that plays playoff style hockey. That's why there was a bidding war for him this off-season. Fortunately for you, I doubt Carolina will be the ones to bite on him. Also, I really hope the Flyers steal Eric Tulsky from Carolina this off-season and bring him back home to Philly.

Because it would involve a promotion and pay raise to GM from AGM plus he grew up a Flyer fan. Don't worry though, Philly's management is incompetent and will keep Fletcher.

Tulsky wouldn't have the resources for his analytics department that Dundon adores so much. Literally, Tulsky asks, he gets. You might be better off targeting someone like Darren Yorke if you want a new GM from Carolina, who's responsible for Carolina's fantastic drafting.
