Seattle have defenseman out the wazoo, they don’t really need more right now. They need more centers and Gourde won’t be traded as he plays in a weak position for the Kraken. Plus, his NTC will allow him to choose not to go to Montreal if he were to be traded.

Gourde always state that he would love to come in MTL... maybe it was just to please is parent!
Yes they have plenty 23-27 yo D fringe NHL.... but Norlinder is called to be brillant in 2-3 years

If this was last offseason I would be very scared of losing Letang... However, I cant see him leaving the Pens to go play for a rebuild team. Hes already got 3 cups so may care less about winning, but he still cares. Maybe its just my bias that I don't want him to leave. It will make for an interesting offseason.

The big question behind this is; How the NEW Gm would be seen by others if he give a big contract to one of is old customer.

I agree, but seeing a lot of trade offer for him who actually gives less...
I would change Hoff by Toffoli... I think it make more sens

Don't forget you are tight under the cap and Toffoli has a GREAT contract... as you might loose Boesy UFA... it could make sens

Not even close. None of this is true. Boesser is a RFA. Toffoli is having a bad season. Miller is on a better contract.

Then why every Van fan is trading JT?

Not for that. For younger RHD, and high draft picks.
