Understand your reasoning, but I wouldn't do the Boeser deal.

Gonna be a no from the Flyers. Lindblom can be a solid middle 6 player and Dickinson is basically a 4th liner.

Meh I think theyd consider it. Can almost guarantee flyers make some moves this offseason. Dickinson was a really solid 3rd liner with Dallas and a shutdown player. Things haven't gone as well so far in Vancouver but he's still been okay.

I know Lindblom has been through a lot but he hasn't been great this year nor last year and Philly could really use some defensive play outside of couturier.

I think the deal really depends how much you believe in docker. If you think there's a high chance he's a top 4dman then it's a solid trade for the Canucks because they're also bringing in youth and speed with Formenton. Rutherford and Boudreau both love fast teams. But if you think docker is too risky to become a top4 guy then you can't give up a talent like Boeser.

Lindblom was just on a streak of like 10 points in 12 games or something and he is a good defensive player as well. He is much more valuable to the Flyers than Dickinson would be.
