Habs fan here. I agree. The only way I see a team giving up a 1st for chariot is a team expecting to get to at least the conference finals so a 28-32 pick. The islanders are too far out and while I think chariot is a great piece on your bottom 4 for the playoffs, he’s not the player to carry you to the playoffs

The isles have played 8 less games than the rangers. Trade deadline is in March.
