Retaning 50% on Sissons for 5 seasons? Can't see NSH (or any team) doing a deal like that. Plus, Sissons is cheaper and has nearly the same goals/points as Monahan while playing a defensive role this team would lack dearly with him gone. And that's an overpay for Monahan at this point anyway.

As for Drouin and DeBrusk -- I'm not too interested in either. I'd rather keep the cheaper Kunin and the 1st.

With Ekholm and Josi on the left side, I just don't see a need for Chychrun. And trading Carrier + multiple picks to get there? Just doesn't make too much sense to me from a depth perspective.

Cousins for a 4th is fair value, but I don't see them moving him considering their current position in the standings.

Forsberg could get a better return, especially at 50% retention, but like Cousins, I don't see them moving him while still in playoff contention.

And for trading three different 1st round picks, I don't think this team is really any better for it.

Easy decline for Arizona. Rangers dont need retention.

Boston and Calgary trades would be accepted.

You could probably drop the 2nd to a 3rd or 4th and Boston still accepts.

Overpay to Calgary

Not sure why Nash makes that Habs trade.

I would do this as a hab fan and its makes sense that the preds would do this anyways, as they know they are about to eat a gigantic turd sandwich with Weber probably retiring this off season. I would push for the 2023 1st rounder instead of the 2022 tho.

Afraid I don't see the reason for NSH to make any of these deals. The value is bad for the Preds in most of them, and they're giving up a lot in futures and taking on retention without making any real improvements.

Weber is voluntarily giving up the rest of the money owed to him and retiring? That's news.

I'm not sure he will be largely driven by money as he has already made roughly $123,030,338....but you're right. he could just sit on LTIR till his contract ends.

I mean collecting millions he's entitled to without having to play isn't what I'd call "driven by money". There's no upside for Weber to just choose to retire.
