Wings would probably do that deal. It's an overpay for Vladdy but if you're that desperate to dump salary I'd have no problems taking advantage of you. We'd just waive Koskinen and send him to GR for the rest of the year. No biggie.

I think it would make more sense just to send koskinen to the hawks instead of Greiss so we don't change up our locker room even more. Probably makes no difference to them. Also if you have 1.2M in cap space actual then there is no reason to retain on Namestnikov. If you want us to use our last two retention slots that would really hinder the return on Leddy if he gets traded. Keep those two prospects and the second and just send bourgault.

I dunno, it's a lot to give up, but now would be the time to retool to compete in the 4 years McDavid and Draisaitl are locked up for. I would think the Oilers would be targeting Varlamov for a goaltender first, though.

If Arizona would be interested in trading him, Travis Boyd is having a hell of a year, and would fit nicely with Kassian, I think.
