I dont think edmonton is trading konovalov. I think they would give 2 seconds.

Trading a couple 2nds for a goalie (or the trade proposed) who won't move the needle is a Chiarelli type move. Georgiev has back-up quality stats and no real reason to think he's going to look better in Edmonton. Would prefer Varlamov or Fleury to take a real swing at the problem.

At this point it really depends on what is available. I'd love Varlamov but he has a M-NTC Fluery also has a say. Some people are saying Colorado will make a play for Fluery and edmonton will somehow end up with kuemper.

I think part of it depends on when these lists were submitted. Offseason or pre-December, Edmonton being on these lists was 50/50. If they got to resubmit Jan 1 or didn't have to submit until recently, then there's a 99% chance Edmonton is on it. Kuemper has no trade protection so could see that working in a 3-way deal if Colorado decides they want to run with Fleury.

would love that trade as a nucks fan. a lot of people are saying no schnieder no deal but I think lundkvist is going to be better long-term and fits what the team needs/boudreau likes more
