If the Detroit pick is Shane Wright, I still don't think it's very interesting for STL. But as it currently stands, that would be moving up to 12oa from 22oa by paying Kyrou and a 2023 1st. Absolutely ludicrous.

Martin, sure its fine. Kyrou is playing at a high level so the only way a trade like that works is if you're trading a super high like top 5 pick and off we get that we're better off using it ourselves.

Lou and Trotz both love Martin, do not see them trading him. If they did rather a 4th round pick then an AHL goalie.

Well since Detroit has the worst lottery luck and they probably won't finish in the bottom 10 its pretty much a no brainer. It's also a move STL will never make.



With Detroit lottery luck they aren't getting Wright unless he falls outside the top 10.



I agree Pickard hasn't played an NHL game this season and probably won't play one this season. Since he is a UFA it would make more sense just to sign him in the offseason.

We need more high end talent that hopefully that Detroit pick can provide. Kyrou is a really nice player but I don't think it's worth giving up what could be had on the top 10.

Are you are serious? Kyrou immediately becomes your #1 RW, you get an additional first and you drop maybe 8 spots? This is a no brainer for any team to take but the ask is never going to happen.

Obviously that trade won't happen but wingers are far easier to acquire than elite centres and that's what I would expect Yzerman to draft this year.

I'd take the St. Louis deal all day and all night long but I can't see them offering it.
