Kessel is from Wisco not MN. He also blocked a trade here, and at this point, MN would have no interest whatsoever.

I do not think that they are stacked at LD. Maybe in their prospect system but not for current roster players. Not really sure why they let Suter go honestly. I would have kept him. I do not see an AG extension anywhere and that is a waste of cap space given he will be 37 next year. Chychrun is an instant upgrade and he’s 12 years younger. So is Minnesota looking to continue to be a perennial bubble Team?

They have a Brodin on LD. That’s it really. And two bottom pair guys on LD: Merrill and Kulikov. They can’t compete with the big guys without a solid top D group.

Honestly does not matter to me if you agree or not. I believe that it will be tough for them to advance deeper in the playoffs without a competitive top 4 D group. Time will tell.
