yes i know i dont like it. However it does make sense from a cap POV. if half is retained the only way we can get a player of his "caliber" would be to somehow ditch trouba or kreider which either won't or cannot happen.

hear me out on the reason I don't want JT miller. The rangers biggest problem right now is 5v5 scoring. While our biggest strength is special teams and having the best goalie in the league. Miller has 17 PP points and will not crack our PP1. His 5v5 analytics point to mediocre defensive numbers and slightly above average in scoring generated with poor finishing. Additionally the price we would need to pay for him will be very steep.

5'10 Hughes and 5'11 Lundkvist aren't gonna be paired together. I'd do a Rathbone-Lundkvist swap but not for Miller
