I mean, if they are confident, sure.
I don't think a potential threepeat year is the time to skimp otherwise.

TB has this annoying ability to have guys at age 24-25 all of a sudden become stars Carter Verhaeghe age 25 13 points in 52 games age 26 36points in 48 games : Jonathan Marchassault age 25 18 points in 45 games age 26 51 in 75 games: Yanni Gourde age 25 8piints in 20 games age 26 64 in 82games played. Which they see happening with guys like Joseph Katchouk and Raddysh

Personally as this roster is constructed now I believe this team has the ability to make an early 80"s Islanders type run

Tampa can easily make a move, and they should either add a middle 6 winger or RD. It's more than likely they'll look at a middle 6 winger like Crouse, but who knows. Brisebois said they'd have to move salary out for salary in, but didn't say that a trade was 100% out of the question.

The tdl is still 2 months away, so plenty of time for player evaluation. Yzerman also said in 2018 I believe that a trade was unlikely, then traded for McD and Miller. Brisebois has also shown a willingness to.do what is necessary to get the players he wants, so if there's a player he and his team think can help now and/or in the future, no doubt he will go for it. The window to win cups is now, and there are quite a few other very good teams that pose a very serious challenge this year.

If Tampa can upgrade at either middle 6 F or RD, they should. Tampa s 1st, Joseph, Foote, Rutta, possibly Raddysh and Katchouk should be on the table if there's an upgrade to be had. Most of Tampa's prospects should also be available outside of Jack Thompson, Jack Finley, and Miftakhov, but depending on the player being acquired, even those 3 could be avaliable.

Luckily Al Murray and Julian Brisebois are smarter talent evaluators than morons on here and really shouldn't touch the foward group at all

I agree. I think theyll have to tweak it a little over the offseason with guys leaving regressing etc (players decline, other teams work you out, players get complacent) but with the big guns locked up in relatively affordable deals. Kuch and Point are getting better. Vasy hasn't even peaked yet.

It's a good time to be a bolts fan.

If your part of the Lightning's management team, please state what position you have, otherwise, your opinions don't mean ****. You seem to think that Joseph is some untouchable, which is laughable. I thought you were ignoring me lol. Still can't provide a good argument I see, just resort to your usual ad hominem garbage and wah, someone has a different valid opinion so.lets bash it since everyone e doesnt agree with me. Pathetic as usual.

Valid opinion you're a buffoon I bet you thought Jonathan Marchassault,Carter Verhaeghe and Yanni Gourde at Mathieu Joseph's age were all3rd liners at best how that work out? TB unlike most teams don't rush guys because
A) they don't have the room for them due to too much talent already there .
B) Better to allow players to overripe in the minors than bring them up to soon .

The usual, "I bet you thought these guys were just 2rd liners too" crap. No, those guys actually showed some talent by now you clown. Joseph has had 200 games and has a .3 ppg average. He's a 25 point a year guy who doesn't create, can't hit water falling out of a boat, and is a decent pk guy. By 200 games, JAM had 145 points, Gourde had over 100, and Veehaeghe is on pace for 121. Each lf them had already shown plenty of potential.and ability at a level far above Joseph. He's nothing special and easily replaceable. Once again, you haven't countered my valid opinion at all, only offered worthless points and continued an immature personal attack based on your own assertions.

That would be a good one! I went to game 6 in 2015 and thought that was it for Tampa lol. The east is going to be a battlefield this year, 8 pretty good teams it would seem. '94 was one of the first SCF I remember watching, although I had been to a couple Lightning games and followed the game somewhat since '89-'90 season.

Oh nice, I started watching hockey in 2016 so I'm pretty new but I hope they can go on some runs after coming out of this rebuild. Similar to Tampa around before 2010 I believe during the Stamkos and Hedman draft years.

Yeah, Stamkos in '08, Hedman in '09. The team had one good run in '11 before running into Tim Thomas in the ECF. Unfortunately, between some bad management decisions, never having consistent enough goaltending, and some coaching issues, the team had some rough years until Vinik and Yzerman took over. Even then there were still a couple more tough years until the team acquired Bishop and drafted Vasi to solve the goaltending issues, plus bringing Cooper in as HC in '13-'14. For a while I didn't think the team would get there under Cooper's leadership, but after the Columbus embarrassment in 2019, he and thus the team were willing to change their approach philosophy to finally get it done.

The Rangers seem to have done an excellent job with their rebuild, and even with the Kravtsov mini drama, plenty of talent in the pipeline it would seem. Tampa will happily take one of your RD prospects/young players off your hands lol(since it seems like you have so many you won't miss Lundkvist or Schneider right 😉).
