Oilers I think say no. Yamamoto is just as good if not better than Strome already. The Koskinen and 1st for Fleury does seem okay though.

Koskinen is a cap dump. He has negative value. Which means Oilers need to add for CHI to take him back in that trade. MAF for a straight up 1st or a prospect and a 2nd makes sense, taking Koskinen back costs extra. And Fleury is only raising his value.

Koskinen isn't really too much of a cap dump since he has only this year left on his contract. Oilers don't need to get rid of him for the team to fit the cap so he for sure doesn't have negative value but with that being said, the value he holds is minimal (late round pick). Still the oilers shouldn't be making this trade as Strome isn't a for sure thing and the oilers shouldn't be taking a risk like that at this point.

No. But you must be if you think Edmonton doesn't need to shed cap to take on more players if they want to gear up for a deep cup run. Especially $6.5mil between the two of them. And Koskinen for sure does have negative value at his cap hit and with how he has been playing. He is absolutely a cap dump. Have fun convincing anyone on here otherwise.
