As said in the other similar thread
Stützle, Tim : is going to be an elite forward for a long time. Sure he's only 19 playing on a rebuilding team so it might NOT be clear to everyone but project him in 2-3 years and you suddenly make a HUGE jump towards McDavid's value. He also won't cost 12.5 AAV a year
Norris, Joshua : 22 y/o 1st line center, already plays against top competition and does very well. He legitimately looks like he could score 2 goals every game. Probably going to settle as 35 goals/65 pts 2-way center.
Bernard-Docker, Jacob : will be a solid but quiet 2nd pairing D-man, won't cost a fortune but improve your overall team quality
2022 1st round pick (OTT) : wildcard asset here, could be anywhere from 1st OA to 10th OA, and there's going to be a lot of talent at the top this year, a bit similar to 2020. That's another very high end piece
Oh and McDavid ONLY has 4 years left on his contract while the 4 Sens pieces can be cost controlled for a decade. For that reason alone, I am not doing this deal.

When Chychrun almost costs as much as McDavid hahahahahahah
Not a very good evaluation on your part lol
Bernard-Docker, Jacob vs Broberg, Philip
2022 1st round pick (OTT) vs 2022 1st round pick (EDM) + 2023 1st round pick (EDM) + Barrie, Tyson
Ottawa's first might still be more valuable but let's say it's fair here
So Norris and Stützle for nothing, a top-10 pick in 2017 re-draft and a recent 3rd OA pick in a great draft
Quoting: palhal
Trouble is with the Ottawa trade, McDavid might find himself in a the the Oiler "situation". Top heavy and a reduced supporting cast.
Tkachuk - McDavid - Batherson
Formenton - Pinto - 2ndlineRW
Paul - Greig - Brown
Crookshank - White - Boucher
2nd line RW : UFA? Trade? Sokolov? Jarventie? Boucher? Etc
I think I prefer the current group with Norris and Stutzle. Defense would be ok without JBD (means they'd have to accept Brannstrom to finally play RD or make a trade/signing)
That 1st line is amazing but is without the 1st round pick in 2022, it means one of Jarventie/Sokolov/etc absolutely needs to become a top-6 forward. Or Dorion go out and get one, something he hasn't done in years
