Need a 1st coming back for Rakell and Lindholm is worth more than that

the difference between Holl and Manson isnt even remotly close to a 1st rounder

Rakell with 50% retention should get us a second and a decent prospect. No need to include DesLauriers in that deal, so we won't be getting another second.

Lindholm will get us a 2022 first and a decent prospect, not a cast-off, but we shouldn't be trading him unless it's clear that we can't re-sign him.

I can't see Toronto exchanging Holl for Manson, because what if Josh doesn't re-sign there? In any event, I see us getting a second plus a decent prospect for him, too.

Unlike some of my fellow-Ducks-fan brethren, I'm not expecting us to get a first for Rakell or Manson, even with retention, unless that's the only element coming back.

Honestly I rather get a first than a top prospect. Anaheim’s scouting department has a serious eye for talent.
