Leafs aren't trading two NHL Dmen for one this year, it just makes the defence weaker. Yea Romanov is nice but that is too steep a price to pay anyway.

Holl is a bottom pair Dman? Gee, plays 20 minutes a night, plays against the top lines, kills penaliteis all this on top 5 team in the NHL. Heck Romanov on poor team doesn't even play 20 minutes. Leafs have a young RHD in Liljegren. So the Leafs aren't trading those two for a LHD and where the Leafs are stacked.

Romanov easily of that group is the best player long term. Hes the youngest as well. Liljegren is quickly proving hes not top 4 material and Holl is too old and a ufa after next year. The late 1st likely wont end up being as good either.

The Leafs are quite happy their top 7 Dman. Leafs certainly aren't trading two RHD for one LHD and more. Doesn't make the Leafs better this year, and probably not next.

You ONLY watch Leafs game. How can you comment about other teams player. Romanov is playing better than Muzzin (I don’t know what Muzzin have this year but it’s kind of a down year for him), Holl, Dermott, Liljegren. Reilly and Brodie are better but I won’t pronounce on Romy and Sandin, both are great. But Romanov is our best dman this year with Chiarot, he isn’t playing bad at all. He’ve been solid all around
