LOL - Funny Bruins heard about the offer and didn't even answer the call from the Nucks. So bad for the Bruins its not even funny.

It’s probably because this giants fellow doesn’t know who the players involved on Boston’s side are. He just sees a first round pick.

Here’s the issue. Get rid of the other two guys from Vancouver. They’re fluff and don’t matter. The bruins are getting a year and a half of JT Miller, who is a heck of a player. But, he’s meant to be a winger.

The bruins aren’t trading lysell for a winger. They also have absolutely no possible need for moving craig smith. That ain’t happening. Debrusk and a first are probably for sale. Lysell might be available for chychrun, or a real center. Not a winger though.

Sutter has little to no value for the B's - dime a dozen player - Bruins don't need an aging player scoring 10 to 20 pts a season
Motte - 26 year old who can't break 10pts a season, the Bruins have loads of players that can fill that roll.
JT Miller is the only good piece Vancouver is giving up.

So you are essentially saying that JT Miller is worth
Craig Smith
Jake DeBrusk
Lysell
1st round pick

that's almost a bigger haul than Eichel got for goodness sake. It is just a flat out no from the Bruins. Sure they may entertain DeBrusk and some sort of pick or other prospect not named Lysell, but this trade never even makes it to sweeney's desk

Motte is a better player than 2/3rds of Boston's 4th line. He'd easily send Blidh or Lazar up to the press box

Sutter is a throw in that is on LTIR and could play in the playoffs and right handed centre depth is always good to have for the war of attrition known as the Stanley cup playoffs

Again - he is a throw in. The Bruins that can play center (Cassidy loves his dual position players) are below:
Bergeron
Coyle
Huala
Smith
Foligno
Frederic
Lazar
Kuhlman
Studnicka
Steen
Fogerty

As you can see, there Sutter would be irrelevant on the Bruins roster, aka a toss in as he offers nothing above and beyond what they already have. He has zero value to the Bruins and there is no way the Bruins give up Lysell, 1st round pick, DeBrusk and Smith for JT miller - its just flat out silly.

Again this trade makes the Bruins worse now and in the future - they don't make this trade. Motte and his career best 16 pts in what 7 seasons is no better than Nosek, Foligno, frederic or Lazar. This trade is so lopsided to Vancouver its funny anyone would argue that it isn't.

You just don't understand any other players around the league except the players who play for your hometown team

Not a home team at all, I don't live in Boston. I have played, coached had seasons tickets to many OHL teams etc. I watch a lot of hockey, this trade makes the Bruins worse over all. JT Miller is a great addition to the line up but Motte and Sutter offer nothing the Bruins don't already have. So it basically means they are paying Lysell, 1st, DeBruks and Smith for Miller - which is bananas. You may want to leave Coquitlam and see some other games outside of the Nucks.
