I ain't sure really. I don't think VAN wants to move the guy for only futures, and it seems unlikely Steel and Mahura would have a huge impact in their lineup, they'd want someone with more top-6 impact.

Canucks need a good RHD or center (ideally right handed) prospect coming back. If at least one of those two isn't in the deal then it doesn't get considered as it doesn't address our needs. I doubt a return based mostly on picks would be interesting unless it was an overpay.

Considering that ANA is a divisional rival means a premium on top of that is likely required too.

Eating a contract isn't worth moving a player of Boeser's caliber.

ANA probably isn't a fit unless you're willing to move someone like MacTavish, which is unrealistic.
