If you're giving us a 3rd round pick to take Nick Ritchie, you're not getting anything back other than future considerations.

Try again.

After last night's game.....Arizona has their goalie. I'm sure the sweeteners will be bigger than what you suggest for the Leafs to rid themselves of those two players. There is going to be a lot more sellers (cap strapped teams) than buyers (teams will cap).
Hate to say it, the Leafs made their mistake last summer when they didn't extend Campbell, and took on Mrzarek. for three years. Plus the Ritchie signing was totally unnecessary for a cap strapped team. The Leafs have very high $$$$ priced executives to make decisions. Over the past few years, they certainly have wasted cap. Maybe Dubas and friends should read CapFriendly for some advice on how to construct a team.

Leafs don't have many draft picks to use as sweeteners either so I'm really curiously to see how they will build their roster for next year.

That's a bad take there my friend. Ritchie was a swing and a miss but you can't fault the team for being cap strapped. All contenders are and the core making the money they are all came prior to the pandemic. Had the cap gone up like everyone thought it would they would be totally fine. May even have kept Hyman and some others. They are dealing with it very well. Still remaining highly competitive. So long as they finally get some playoff success I think any criticism will ring hollow. I still think Mrazek will regain value. He's played well for TO when he's played but he's been injured. He'll play a lot down the stretch to keep Campbell fresh and I bet his value goes up a lot. Lots of teams still need goaltending.
