klingberg part is true but they are able to sign him for that big contract he wants because they have the caps space and i believe they could go far with one big trade and a few small deals due to littles career probably over and wheeler out for a while

Wheeler will likely be back in a week or two and Little's LTIR geneti relief is already accounted for in the Jets' salary structure. If Klingberg wants to sign in Winnipeg, the Jets are better off just waiting until the off season instead of over paying for a half season of Klingberg now.

Trading that much for a rental. If we knew that he was re-signing for 7.5M or less, then maybe but...

Its been reported that Klingberg is looking for around $7.5M for 8 years, don't know how the Jets would fit that and its unlikely Klingberg would want to sign with Winnipeg anyway so this isn't something the Jets should do.

Also the Jets are behind Dallas in the standings so not sure Dallas is ready to pull the pin on the season, myself I think the Jets management needs to take a long hard look at this lineup and ask itself if as its currently constructed can it go all the way cause imo it can't and it really needs an overhaul, making a deadline deal for a rental like what's presented here is the opposite of what they should do imo. Chevy should be selling his own rentals and seeing what kind of interest there is in the likes of Dillon, DeMelo and a few others.
