It's essentially trading a higher end 2nd round pick for a rental guy. Seems pretty fair to me. The 5th is barely anything and can for sure be sqeezed out in a deal like this.

Murphy is a rental since he's a ufa and the end of the year. And I don't think a team would or should be willing to give up a first or morr for him either.

Yeah he has not done the best and the nurse contract is pretty bad too. Even though he's improved from last year he's for sure not a 9.25 million dollar dman. Probably between the 7-8 range.

Look at his profile on the site, he re-signed with Chicago. He's a solid top 4 RD, definitely worth 1st+.

I'd take koskinen for that price. I think he'd be an upgrade on rittich or at worst lateral. I'd like to see Koskinen infront of a better defence.
