Detroit declines. Our biggest areas of need are LD & C, and here we give up our best LD prospect and a 1st that will likely fulfill the latter need.

Thank you, I guess. I try to be original. Half the trades on here are just the same recycled garbage.

Did you just offer Michael Rasmussen for David Pastrnak?

I think the only pieces that would be in play:
1. Raymond
2. Seider
3. Edvinsson+

Oh boy. Frankly, this is a mess. You’re trading a bunch of guys that should be a part of any rebuild (carlo has five years after this one left dude), and then instead of any sort of tank they’re signing awful UFA contracts that will range from looking bad immediately, to looking horrible on the back end of the deal.

Thankfully, if you look at the standings the bruins seem to basically have a playoff spot all but locked up.

if avs are trading a 3rd and Ranta, they are getting someone a lot better than Foligno

All of those guys will be better than Pasta soon and Rasmussen and a puck plus the original trade will get him

OK, make it later pick. I probably got a little ambitious there.

Huh? Pastrnak is a top-10 or top-15 player in NHL. Maybe one of those guys get there, but not all three.

All 3 would be hard, but Sieder and Raymond of to good starts and look like future stars. Long road ahead. Wings not in need of forwards, I like Pasta, but Center and LHD are the biggest needs and PAsta does not fufill those needs.

Certainly 2 of them and pasta hasn’t been great this until 5 days ago. Asking Zadina, Rasmussen, 2 1st round picks and maybe a 3rd gets pasta.

Right now the Bruins are the second wild card team and I don’t see any reason to believe that it changes any time soon

What have Zadina and Rasmussen done? They are 3rd liners with some upside.

its ranta, trading an intriguing prospect who is playing pro hockey in their system already for an oft injured 3rd liner in his 30s already. Rather just sign a guy like Namestinkov or Janmark for that role.

Bowers plus 3rd?

I am sure someone would pay that type of price

Boston is probably not missing the playoffs and if they do they don’t need a full rebuild, they have a really solid team. If they miss the most they do is a couple small changes

LA isn't going to trade one of the only defensive prospects with size they have in the organization for another undersized defenseman.

No prospect, he has 6 points playing a 3rd liner role, a 3rd would be more than enough. Anything more then hes not worth getting, you can sign someone similar or better for the same amount

You could probably claim someone on waivers who will give you that type of production. Avs claimed Aubé-Kubel who has 12 points in 21 games for them. Foligno is kinda washed

Ok and McDavid and Draisaitl are arguably the best players in the world and currently out of the playoffs and don't have any cups. So how is this good for Detroit? It isn't it actually makes Detroit worse.

bruins also have anywhere from 2-6 games in hand on people within the division too though. it might not be enough to surpass some of the heavy hitters in the atlantic but they will be alot closer to the pack then people are kind of giving them credit for.
