The hawks extended Murphy last year, so you’re gonna have to pay him 4.4x4 which the leafs cannot afford. Anyway, the trade is way too much given up on the leafs end. Niemela is our current best d prospect, Robertson our best forward prospect, and a 1st for strome who is mid, as well as Murphy who wouldn’t fit on the leafs cap wise. The Dallas trade is terrible. What happens next year when u have to resign pavelski, klingberg and holtby? With marner gone too. Klingberg is the only guy they can and should resign here. They don’t need him at all anyway. The ducks trade is fine, but I don’t see them selling with where they are in the standings.
