Is Bunting doing that bad on the 1st line that it's worth throwing away a top prospect for ~20 games of a 37 year old?

no, but injuries happen and Bunting would likely be back up soon enough. Main reason I'd do it is because if one of JT/AM are hurt like last year I'd much rather have Pavelski to play 2C than any of our other alternatives. Plus the guy has 30 points in 32 games and is a good leader, great net-front scorer

Gag at that Vancouver trade. The relatively dependable Holl for a Dman Hunt that isn't even on the lineup.
Maybe that trade for Chychrun is fair. But kinda crazy to give up good assets for a position LHD that doesn't really need help.

arizona isnt doing that for chychrun, probably enough for pavs but drop the 4th coming back its robertson and a 2nd for pavs. ritchies a cap dump. dont think slater koekkoek is being moved but ive seen dumber moves happen.

IMO a future cheap LW core of Bunting, Robertson, Amirov and Knies will be a huge advantage for the Leafs contention window.

With mikheyev and kase Leafs have more depth this year to fill in the top 9 in case of injury.

The Oilers might trade Koekkoek for Engvall, it adds a bit to their cap pressure this season but it clears some space next year. Neimelainen has outperformed Koekkoek and can probably continue to do so once he's back from injury.

Arizona is asking for 4 pieces for JC, this is two pieces short. 1st and Amirov, but Dermott is middle of the road, but Mrazek is a huge minus and a 3rd in 2023 is really nothing.

Please be mi dful of two things, one there are teams that covet a tip LHD and will pay and Arizona does no t have to trade Chychurn.
