What incentive does Washington have to make that. It’s horrible value, but past that it doesn’t even fill a need for DC. Maybe Perreault as a nostalgia buy to replace Hagelin, but he’s hardly worth more than what Washington paid for Raffl. Washington also already has 3 goalies they are confident in (Samsonov, Vanecek, and now seemingly Fucale), so Jake Allen is an absolute waste instead of an upgrade.

The only way LA is taking Gallagher is if Montreal retains 50% of his salary and doesn't expect much back in return. Something similar to the Jeff Carter deal. Otherwise they're not interested.

Kulak is a UFA left defenseman, so even with Edler on the LTIR list, we wouldn't pick him up on waivers.

Gallagher for a second and a future fourth conditional upon how many games he plays in the next two seasons is conceivable.
