It's true that Georgiev (or the vast majority of goalies) wouldn't do any better but he would have the benefit of the doubt of "starting fresh" next year

Keep in mind Jake Sanderson is coming and players like JBD, Colin White, Shane Pinto and Angus Crookshank will vastly improve team defense when they will be able to play

Plus, if a miracle happens and Sens get new ownership, new management and new coaching! but lol I am getting way ahead of myself

Until then, Georgiev is a RFA so maybe Dorion won't overpay this time.

Nemeth is owed 6.0 M$ for 2 more years though and could be a 3rd pairing LD stop gap. Not sure Melnyk would approve though as Dorion has been wasting money left and right already
