While the Predators are looking good, they don't seem like the kind of team to throw around high picks like that. Have they even traded a 1st in recent memory?

They traded a 1st for Ryan Hartman in 2018
After that its mostly been selling or making hockey trades
Like Arvidsson, Subban, Ellis etc.
Still could see them doing it as if they paid a 1st for Hartman why not Toffoli.
Its funny how I have been jokingly calling Nashville a Dark Horse for the cup but as time has gone by I think its becoming more and more realistic as come the deadline this team could make a big splash
Now what team has a good amount of upgrades for them, well...MTL is that team
Been trying to figure out a trade where Toffoli and Lehkonen go to Nashville but I dont know what the trade would look like. Cause I feel both sides could benefit off one another as Nashville has some good prospects and Montreal has some good playoff ready players.
They better not trade Lehky. If he were moved it would need to be no less than a 2nd. (Although if it were me I wouldn’t accept less than a 1st+)

Apparently he was gonna be moved last year to St. Louis for Blais and pick but Blues wanted an extension before proceeding but he did not want to go to St. Louis
That lead to the 1 year deal as Montreal planned on trying to move him the next deadline and apparently NYR has expressed interest

Another reason to thank the gods that Bergevin is gone.
