Makes zero sense for the Ducks. He still has value and is great defensively. He’s also a big leader on the ice. He’s only issue is his contract, it’s a little pricey but Silfverberg is still a fringe 2nd liner solid 3rd liner

You’re entitled to your opinion as I am to mine. I think the idea of revenue sharing to keep struggling franchises alive when they are losing money pretty ridiculous. If not for that, you’d lose some visibility but keep the talent pool high and in places that actually make money. I know I’d have no interest seeing some of the teams in the finals or playoffs. Plus they’re doing nothing in a market that makes it easier to match contracts from big teams since everyone has the cap limit of $81.5 mil.
