@kawhislaugh
You’re gonna have to help me understand the Buffalo trade
First,
Miller STARTS with a 2nd round pick
Second,
Koskinen is having ANOTHER mediocre (at best) season for you guys- and even though we do need a goalie, i don’t think u can consider him an asset the way he’s playing & with his Cap hit.
He seems much more like a “Cap dump” to me….
And thus, we should be getting an additional asset to take him off your hands
Third,
Lagesson??? Did u just pick a random guy u don’t want any more? Bc he’s got ZERO trade value imo.
He’s 25 & still hasn’t been able to earn a permanent spot in the NHL. If u just wanna dump a contract, then fine. But he’s NOT an asset with any value. Plus, we don’t need a LH defenseman- we’re more than ok on the left side moving forward
Conclusion:
So it seems like u want us to take a “Cap dump” and a player with no value (and at this point, no upside either) for Miller….
And that just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever
Buffalo would easily decline your offer imo
As other teams would surely offer us better assets
Especially since what you offered essentially has negative value
