Wings have two centers to see if they can be #2 centers, Veldno and. Bergeron, but do not have .any RHD in the system besides Seider, Hronek and Lindstrom ready to play now. And Barrie is not very good and does not match rebuild timeline. Plus Wings have a ton of cap and can possible lure a center like Trochek, Hertl or another player with very good deals and keep Hronek.

That Ceci trade is a steal for Seattle. Ceci has been solid defensively and very good moving the puck. No to everything except kubalik.

I agree but Berggren is a NHL wing, Fabbri makes a better center than Berggren and that didn't work out so well last season. But Detroit doesn't make this trade.

Holloway was tracking well ahead of Larkin when he got injured last spring. There's zero chance Holland sends him out (with other assets) for Hronek. This AGM was made by a Pens fan so don't take it too seriously.

Tracking “well ahead” puts him at 53 pts vs Larkins 47 pts without factoring how Covid impacted some NCAA stats & sample size. I guess you use that phrase loosely.

He got injured in game 19, but still played the final 4 games (zero points). He was actually at 35 points in 19 games, or a 64.5 point pace (for 35 gp). That's nearly 40% better production in draft+1.

It’s hockey, players play injured all the time same with Larkin in that 14-15 season. That’s really cherry picking now.

Not at all. It's an injury that required two surgeries and will keep him out nearly 12 months. It wasn't the usual 'bumps and bruises' that guys play through.

If you’re talking about his wrist injury that occurred in the playoffs. This isn’t an instance where it broke and then he played multiple games and then it broke again.

He was having wrist issues as early as the WJC. It broke in game 19

29th game in the schedule (Pitt) with 2 remaining regular season games. Some reported thumb but it was his scaphoid bone specifically causing the discomfort. Most likely fractured in the 29th game and then subsequent games broken.

How many games did Larkin play with broken bones in his draft+1?

He was banged up towards the beginning of the season but nothing broken. He had time off for WJC and a great tournament which is why he was ~2 PPG post WJC and was vital to that teams success. Not exactly sure I’m following your point here anymore.

My point is Holloway is an elite prospect and this trade is a slam-dunk for Detroit. No chance Holland entertains this idea.

When did I say he wasn’t a good prospect? I said you used the phrase “well ahead” extremely loose. You then proceeded to avoid all my rebuttals and cherry pick stats which were incorrect to try and prove your point. The only thing of interest for Detroit is Holloway as Barrie doesn’t fit our rebuild so team needs need to be accounted for both sides. Further, Hronek is an established top 4 RHD that’s still young enough to develop so not exactly looking to move him.

Only way Holloway gets moved for hronek is if Detroit eats 50% or gives up a first with him
