Then why is he listed as being able to play center then? I suppose Jarnkrok can play center as well

Idk, a lot of hockey websites don't update their info, many still list Perreault as C/LW but the Jets never used Perreault as a center other then maybe for a bit in his first year with the Jets and he was in Winnipeg for like seven years I think it was.

Honestly the Flames are better off to keep Monahan, maybe he's struggling but he'll provide the kind of center depth needed for a deep playoff run.
