Jackets aren't trading heavy draft capital for JT Miller no matter where he is from. He can come as a FA if he wants to play here and the jackets want him too

JT Miller doesn't do anything for the Jackets other than get them a worse draft pick. He doesn't make them a playoff team this year or next year. They aren't going to trade a top-10, possibly top-5, pick for 1 guy that A) isn't going to help them given where they are currently at, and 2) they can make an offer for as a UFA after next season

You don't think Miller makes the Jackets a playoff team?

I think Vancouver would want players to help them win now over draft picks. I expect this to be a hockey trade 1 for 1 for a defenseman or something.

Who says JT Miller makes it to free agency? Also why not give a counter offer like say make the 1st top 10 protected or something instead of just crapping on his mock trade? Personally I think any trade involving Miller will be a hockey trade not a trade for draft picks, but I’m just saying, having a respectful discussion shouldn’t be difficult.
