I'm leaning this way as well. Mostly because of Zegras.

this team has some nice firepower in the top 6 but not sure carrying the offense on some younger players and rookies is the greatest idea. If they falter the bottom 6 wouldn't be able to pick up the slack. It's either a deep playoff run or miss the playoffs for me

There are really only a couple of problems I have with this team. The first problem would probably be depth scoring. The top six can bring a lot scoring, but I’m not sure how much offense the bottom six will contribute. While I am still on the topic of forwards, this team will desperately need a RHC. Kopitar would already be taking most of the faceoffs on the right side, so unless the others can be really good in their weaker faceoff dot, this team might struggle a bit. These two problems can be fixed relatively easily, as Trocheck is a RHC, plays physical, and can light the lamp, as well as really good in the dot. On this team I would probably remove Cizikas and bump Jenner down to 4C and put Trocheck in as 3C.

The other problem I would like to highlight would be goaltending. While the current tandem can be really good, I am just not sure if they can steal a playoff round. Tap it is an excellent backup, and can push for the starter role if he goes on a hot streak, so he can stay. I am still unsure of Lehner as the starter. For the same amount of money you could go for a younger option in either Demko or Saros, which I know can steal a game or even a playoff series if the need arises. I think I would lean more towards Demko on this one, but Saros is still a solid option regardless.

The dcore is really good, although I am not as confident in the third pairing as I am the others.

Overall, this team is really good defensively, has an explosive offense, and steady goaltending. Sure fire playoff team for me, although depending on when this team’s top 6 gets shut down, I could see a first round exit to a deep run to either CF or SCF. I do think that depth scoring will end up being this teams downfall, if the goaltending doesn’t fall first. Make the couple of changes I recommended and this team goes from making a deep run to being cup favorites.

The only other question I have would be how much does Kopitar have left in the tank? Other than that really good team.
