I highly HIGHLY HIGHLY doubt they pair Jones and Lundkvist together.

Id expect something more like...
Jones - Trouba
Miller - Fox
Lindgren - Lundkvist

Yea it wouldn’t be the smartest, but just to see what they have together. Maybe something like

Lindgren-Fox
Jones-Trouba
Miller-Lundkvist?

Miller is too much of a liability, id rather he play with Fox.

Yeah but then you destroy the top pair. They need to trade Jones or Lundkvist. No need for two small offensive defenseman on the third pair.

You dont destroy anything. The Rangers only play 1 game between now and Dec 26th. We will be fine. People are so over-dramatic.

Personally think we’re better off long term moving Lundkvist and Jones and having a 3rd pair of Schneider and Robertson to go with Miller and Trouba and Fox and Lindgren. Smaller defenseman do not help win in the playoffs. Just ask Colorado with top what happened to Girard in the playoffs. We need bigger guys that can skate.

You aint gotta tell me, Ive been the biggest supporter of a Robertson / Schneider pairing, going as far to say that they together could become one of the best defensive pairs in the league.

I just think if the six I mentioned were our defense core, they’d be lights out. They’d be big, mobile, can skate, provide offense and be nasty. The perfect combo of skills needed from the backend to succeed in the playoffs. Hopefully we get our wish one day.
