You don't want to swap for Holl since you need him to have a balanced D with robustness. Chychrun is 23 and signed until 2025, with this D with 3 great lines and the powerful offense, TOR could be Cup containders for the next 4 years.

I am Arizona and I have a 23 yo Dman that is one of the best in the league, I won't give him for a late 1st, a robust Dman and 2 B prospects. I at least want Sandin or Liljegren. Plus you aren't giving up enough cap space

You would be already 4mil over the cap next year with Holl on LTIR (was goin to trade all these players but would not fit in the pic) So to my point, you'd need to move out Holl, Ritchie, Kerfoot, replace them and bank on Kallgren, or Woll as your backup. lol come man, try again. I'd be willing to include Liljegren. But not both Liljegren and Amirov. (not considering Sandin a rookie/prospect at this point) You're asking for our best defensive rookie/prospect AND our best forward prospect AND a first. I agree that Chychrun is really good but these blockbusters always tend to be underwhelming. This is eichel-level return, which isn't warranted

that's what he was drafted as but in the minors over the past few years Marlies development spent a lot of time working on his defensive game so that he could make the jump. To me it's gotten to a point where he's not a crazy offensive D but he's sound defensively and has the puck-moving/transition skills to break it out and be a positive influence on the offensive cycle. Will make for a top 4 D that isn't eye popping but just generally effective

Liligren is the leafs best RD for the future. So you have to trade Muzzin, Rielly or Brodie which all have NMC of some kind.
