I think they can get a better deal than that IMO

As a canes fan, I really like this, albeit I don’t really want to give up Fast that much. However, as a Yotes fan, this is completely unrealistic. Coyotes will get a lot more for Chychrun AND retaining money on Miller. Arizona, if they are going to shop Chychrun, will want an extremely futures based package. Plus, it would have to be a combination of quality and quantity if you are wanting Chychrun. He is a cornerstone piece that will not come cheap. It would likely take a top prospect, along with a high end prospect, with at least 1 first round pick and more draft capital to really get Arizona to consider. Arizona doesn’t want to trade Chychrun right now as they want to build around him, but I’m sure if someone wants him bad enough, they would be willing to overpay for him. Really like the premise, but the execution was a bit lacking. Good job though.

I don't understand why Carolina considers this. Fast is healthy, and Suzuki is one of their first call-ups. If they wanted to move them badly, why not cut out the middle man and throw Makiniemi, Gunler, Heimosalmi, etc for Chychurn and just take the better player?

Van giving up Miller MDP & Rathbone for Chychrun is too pricey to say the least.

Often injured & further stripping the prospect depth is not happening.

No rush with MDP while grooming in the AHL.
Rathbone the same & a smooth scoring D.
Miller should be approached in the offseason to see what an extension will cost. Go from there if dealt or not. He’s a big piece & if traded will fetch a lot or extended & helps a ton as a central piece of the team.
