Greenway isn’t very good. He’s not better than Debrusk and you are not getting a top 6 center for him without a 1st thrown in. Nor can you get a 1st for him.

This is a bad trade for Boston giving up 2nd to trade for a less productive player. 🙄. Minny does not do it because it makes no sense for them. But neither does Boston because it’s terrible for them. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Nick foligno just got a 1st. Worse players have gotten a 1st. You are wrong that a young, big player like greenway with size and cheap contract wouldn't get a 1st especially with improved play. A gm will pay a 1st round pick for greenway.

Foligo is veteran whose game translates well in the playoffs. Greenways does not. He plays a soft game for his size, does not produce much offensively, not a shutdown guy. He has no standout skillset.

The idea that 3rd line wing can be traded straight up for a top 6 C is laughable. His value is less than Coyle’s was.
