Isles say no. Romanov is the only interesting piece of that package.

You really want Armia's contract? 3.4 x 3 years, 27 pts in his last 89 games

I'd want DeMelo back. What about Sanford for DeMelo?

Yes, I think Armia is awesome, just on a **** team.

Lowry is considered by many(not me) to be the best 3C in the league and his point totals are similar to Armia's and I'm constantly told pOiNTs aReN'T eveRytHiNG so if that's true I guess I shouldn't hold Armia's lack of production against him.. lol 😆

Lowry's best years were with Armia on his wing and the Jets organization isn't budging from moving Lowry off of line 3 so the hope would be that they could rekindle their chemistry or thats how I see it anyway and at worst Armia is better then some of the Jets current bottom six guys though I do like most of them other then Lowry.

I'm not a DeMelo fan, he's okay but he's overrated by the analytics crowd imo, he is alright depth though, I'm indifferent on him more then anything. I wouldn't mind Sanford and have wondered what he'd cost to acquire, think I'd want a pick coming with Sanford though considering DeMelo has some term left, something like a 4th-7th rounder and I'd probably do it, my fellow Jets fans wouldn't though, most of them really like DeMelo.

I see I see, it's true that Armia is that old fashioned "industrious winger" so he has an appeal and could produce a bit more than that. If he could be around 35-40 pts then he'd totally be worth it. He's not that far so added chemistry could really help him. I wouldn't say Lowry is the best 3C in the league but for me, he's not that far

I'd be fine doing DeMelo for Sanford + 6th or something

DeMelo should have never left Ottawa, perfect reliable guy that would help stabilize the defense. Can play with Chabot if Zub is needed on another pairing, could help Brannstrom get more comfortable in the NHL... in many ways he could have been useful but our GM... well many of us don't see things the same way as him
