Dustin Brown will not be traded.

Carter was dealt, so you never know. Brown has had a down year, but could be reunited with Carter. He could always return to LAK in the offseason.

Carter isn't the franchise leader in games played and the only Captain to ever bring LA to the promised land. Brown has said in previous interviews that he likes the idea of playing his entire career with one franchise. He's currently moving up the all time games played as teammates record book with Anze Kopitar. They'll likely pass the Sedin twins' record of 1276, if not the Howe/Delvecchio record of 1353.

If Brown hadn't yet won the Cup and was looking to go somewhere for one last chance at reaching the promised land, then maybe. Since he already has two, it's not that much of an incentive.

Brown isn't going anywhere.

There is no way that Vancouver trade happens. Matheson is enemy number 1 in BC. We dont need a weasel like him on our team.
