As a Wings fan, I love the trade. But I don't see VAN moving EP, let alone without a high quality piece coming back. All of your pieces have *potential* to be high quality, but most of them haven't played meaningful NHL time, meaning they are a total toss up.

I'm guessing the trade would look something more like Zadina + 23 1st + 24 1st + good prospect or young player (Veleno/Berggren/etc).

Speaking of... where's Zadina in this roster?

He's 23 even if they rebuild they aren't trading him or Hughes. You're also mixing up Horvat and Pettersson. Horvat was the one who said he has no interest in being in a rebuild, Pettersson has just said he wants to win. Plus even if they do trade him, it's gonna be more high-end prospects i.e. Zadina, Hronek

Being that I live in Vancouver and heard both Pettersson and Hughes say "we do not want to go through a rebuild" prior to signing their contracts (which are noticeably short) I'd say.... they don't want to go through one.

However I am going to fix the trade to include Zadina as I believe the price would be similar to Jack Eichel

Now this is more realistic.

From here, I'd probably take out WW and make one of the 1sts conditional (or at least protected). If VAN wants WW, then remove Cotton and make one of the 1sts a 2nd.
