Isles are not trading a lottery pick for labanc, even if it was not a lottery pick they have no interest in him

Is Labanc really worth a first, let alone a lottery pick? That seems like a very steep price for the Isles to pay

Can't see any team giving up a lottery pick for labanc. A playoff team might be desperate enough to give up a first though

This has to be if someone the Isles get back into contention. I’m a sharks fan I don’t think he’s worth a lottery pick unless it’s like top 10 protected. I could see him fetching a mid 20s pick

no he is not, not right now anyways. he has Legit 1st round caliber skill… but he hasn’t itemized it or hit his potential, at best i think a late 2nd or 2 3rds is our best hope.

It's probably fair value for Balcers but the Canadiens are pretty much already set on the wings.

No idea why they would do that. They couldnt need left d any less. Dahlin, power, bryson, samuelsson, ryan johnson, plus plugs like hagg and butcher. At this point you are just blocking somebody.

Expiring deal for a LHD that can be kept on Practice Squad in case of injury, free 7th rounder, and a body to reach cap floor.

Nobody needs help reaching the cap floor.

He'll be $1.375M against the cap. There's no harm in it.

The Islanders can't afford Labanc's contract unless another one's going the other way.

Oilers crease is already crowded, not throwing a 2nd for another meh goalie.
