Description

If an Offer Sheet you think is matched I will remove it but let’s say the players sign it and it’s waiting for their team to make the choice to let them go or match
(Don’t think Vegas can match Hague but possibly Roy)

Getzlaf signs a big contract but is basically retired so Anaheim his the floor

Trades are approximate value I think the players are worth, not specifically to the team they were traded to here

Ducks aren't getting those returns in those trades. Liljegren for sure won't be offer sheet eligible. Kinda of a silly Getzalf scenario. Ownership, the players and fans want to win so spend that money on real players.

I agree that they both *should*, but the market hasn't ponied up a 1st for an expiring LD at the deadline since 2015.

Far better off extending Hampus ASAP, and moving Rakell while he's still scoring.

Why? That's a decent contract, but I'd go higher 7M x 8 would be my preferred rate, but I'd go as high as 7.5M. He's our best D-man by a longshot and makes his partner better. He's also got some really good chemistry with Drysdale. That would be our top pairing for the next 8 seasons... why mess with that to save few $$$?

Just Re: Hampus-I feel like it'll be $6.5, with the ceiling being $7...Rielly isn't a bad comp, but he's been healthier/more valuable to his team than Hampus has (Though Hampus is a beautttty).
