debrusk's 2-way game is no where near Toffoli's. Plus Debrusk would most likely ask for a significant pay raise to play on a team where he doesn't want to play on. toffoli gives you a player who can play either wing, pk, pp, and play a solid 2-way game. but hey if the bruins don't want to offer a 1st rd pick, im 1000000% sure other teams would do so.

mtl is not making a playoff push. armia can be that extra bottom 9 player who can play up and down the line up, contribute on the PK, and score here and there. and this btw, happens at the tdl, assuming the devils are in a playoff position and pushing to cement it.

And no, B’s are not offering a 1st. They tried for 2 years to get him from LA and balked at giving up 1st then. His value has not increased since then. And when LA did finally trade him, they did not get a 1st either. 🤷🏻‍♂️
