Well, theyd lose the contracts of Chytil and Strome which would equal his qualifying offer. Maybe do something long term similar to Landeskog, 7x7.

Not saying it’s impossible but it’s gonna be hard especially with Kakko coming up this season and others

It's interesting that there were so many low-ball offers on PLD in the off-season on here and now that he's playing like a 1 A/B centre, the offers are back.
Not that it's a particularly low-ball offer, but given what was given up to get him and how he's currently playing...
A) He's staying in Winnipeg
B) It would have to be a player of similar impact coming back, not a mix of lesser players. If PLD is a dollar piece, don't expect him to be traded for 4 quarters. It'd be a dollar piece going the other way.
