This off season TB is only going to have 3RD NHL ready signed so trading one on a very club friendly contract isn't very likely at all.

Not only that, the Avs have Barron so not sure why they'd make this trade.

I like the roster for the most part but I'm still in the camp that is not sure Kuemper is the guy - he's had some good games and some not so good games. The biggest issue with signing Hertl and Bura to those big deals and new deals for Mac, Newhook and Byram upcoming the following year. So long as they don't give trade protection to Hertl and Bura, it could work. They'll need the flexibility the following year because at least one bigger contract will likely need to be moved out.

They have EJ, Stastny, and Compher rolling off next year in this acgm, so it might work for at least another year. Agree that they need to avoid trade protection for those guys though (especially Burakovsky). Someone will probably need to go eventually.

My biggest issue is that the chances of Kaut being a top 6 guy are slim and none. Also, Nichushkin is really important to this team. Maybe move Compher for anything to re-sign Nichushkin. Otherwise it looks good to me. The Ingram trade is interesting.

Henry, Mckewon, Middleton and Hunter are not getting contracts. Stastny isn’t coming back to COL, Kuemper isn’t signing that contract and as much as I would like it, Kaut isn’t going to be a 2nd line winger.

Agree. I did not see that Nuke was not re-signed. To me, he's more important (and likely cheaper) than Bura. IMO, it may be possible to replace Bura's inconsistent production with Olausson so long as he has good linemates to play with.
